InnoVerse Club — Where Ideas Are Born Without Gravity

We started with a simple question: can innovation be felt — not just talked about? Not in theory. Not in textbooks. But in a few minutes of real, human experience. In the Fall of 2025, InnoVerse Club set out to find the answer at George Brown College. We didn’t want to run another lecture or a competition. We wanted to design something alive — a space where creativity could be experienced freely, without pressure, grades, or limits.

Purpose

Our Purpose

We wanted to see what happens when you remove all expectations — no prizes, no competition, no deadlines — and just give people a question worth thinking about. Every participant joined out of curiosity, not obligation. And that’s where the magic began.

Experience

The Experience

As students entered the space, they found a wall of nine topics, each one representing a different side of innovation: technology, health, education, sustainability, and more. They picked one. We gave them a creative prompt. Their mission? Think beyond the box. Each person wrote their idea on a sticky note and placed it on the Innovation Wall — a living constellation of imagination, color, and thought.

Scope

Our Scope

The experience unfolded across three consecutive days and three faculties: Engineering, Health Sciences, and Business. In just 4 hours and 50 minutes, more than 120 students from different nationalities and programs took part. Each faculty had its own version — so every participant felt the challenge spoke their language.

What We Learned

We learned that innovation doesn’t need time — it needs space. When people are free to think, explore, and express, ideas appear faster than you’d imagine. No competition. No fear of being wrong. Just curiosity — and a shared wall that turned into a galaxy of ideas. This first prototype is only the beginning. InnoVerse — Where innovation becomes weightless, and every curious mind turns into a star.
